Hi, I’m Haripriya, a Counselling Psychologist, Cognitive Hypnotic Psychotherapist and PhD Scholar with a deep interest in understanding people and promoting emotional well-being. My journey into psychology began after several years in the software industry, where I saw first-hand the emotional challenges many people silently carry while balancing work, relationships, and family responsibilities.
Today, I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and accepted.
My journey into psychology began after several years in the software industry, where I developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. During that time, I also became increasingly aware of the emotional challenges people quietly carry while balancing work, relationships, and family responsibilities.
My interest in psychology deepened through my own experiences as a parent and caregiver. Over the years, I had the opportunity to work closely with psychologists, therapists, and other mental health professionals. Watching the therapeutic process unfold sparked a curiosity that went beyond simply wanting to find solutions.I wanted to understand why these approaches worked and the psychological principles that guided meaningful change.
That curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Psychology. However, I soon realised that my learning journey was only beginning. It inspired me to continue my academic path through doctoral research while also training in Cognitive Hypnotic Psychotherapy. Exploring the role of the subconscious mind and evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques has given me a deeper appreciation of how lasting emotional change can take place.
Today, I bring together my background in technology, my academic training, my research, and my lived experiences to offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they work towards meaningful change.
I believe every individual is unique, with their own strengths, experiences, and challenges. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, goals, and pace. My aim is to create a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
My practice is rooted in a client-centred, integrative, and evidence-informed approach. Together, we identify meaningful therapeutic goals and work towards them through a structured, step-by-step process, while remaining flexible to your evolving needs. My role is to guide and support you throughout your journey, helping you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and practical strategies for lasting change.
Depending on your individual concerns and goals, I thoughtfully integrate principles and techniques from established psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Hypnotic Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and other evidence-informed therapeutic approaches where clinically appropriate.

I believe that learning is a lifelong journey. Alongside my formal education, I continue to deepen my knowledge through professional training, supervision, and ongoing learning to ensure my practice remains ethical, client-centred, and evidence-informed.
